Job Responsibilities

Your main job responsibilities will include participating in grave digging, covering, and other lighter construction tasks. As you will be working with excavation, a high safety awareness and the ability to assess risks are required. The work is physically demanding and requires good physical condition. You will also encounter people in grief, so a high level of empathy is essential.

We offer secure employment conditions and a safe working environment, as well as a collective agreement. You will have many competent colleagues who care for each other in everyday life. Continuous professional development is a given for us.

In our effort to create workplaces that promote health, we offer both wellness grants and the opportunity to train at a gym in our own facilities. With our flexible working hours agreement, it is easier to combine work and leisure. Our lunch card makes it cheaper to have lunch in the city.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in the construction industry or equivalent. Work takes place at all cemeteries in Malmö, and to transport ourselves between them, a minimum of a B driver's license for manual transmission is required.

The work is varied, and therefore you should enjoy working both in a team and independently. You are flexible and willing to learn new things. Precision and organizational skills are self-evident concepts for us, even under time pressure.

As we have many safety instructions and use digital work orders, it is important that you master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Personal Qualities

  • Safety-conscious Since the work involves excavation and grave digging, a high safety awareness and risk assessment are crucial.

  • Empathetic and respectful You meet people in grief, which requires a warm and understanding personality as well as the ability to treat people with respect.

  • Physical endurance and strength The work is physically demanding, so good physical condition and endurance are important.

  • Meticulous and orderly There are many safety instructions and tasks that require precision, even under time pressure.

  • Flexible and adaptable The tasks are varied and take place at different cemeteries, which requires you to handle changes and new situations.

  • Communicative and language proficient You need to master Swedish in speech and writing to follow instructions and manage digital work orders.
