The Shared Service Function is a business area within Regionservice, tasked with delivering services in finance, HR, and customer service. Together, we are one of Sweden's largest Shared Service Centers with approximately 300 employees.

The Payroll Unit is one of Sweden's largest payroll units. We are over 35 competent employees who provide service and create added value by freeing up time for core operations. With our specialist competence, we create security for managers and management support so that everyone receives the correct salary on time.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will have the opportunity to work with payroll management based on a clear payroll process where the goal is always to ensure that Region Skåne's employees receive the correct salary, on time, and in a correct manner. You will work in our payroll and personnel systems to:

• correct, quality assure, and administer salaries
• guide and coach managers and employees on payroll issues
• support the use of payroll and personnel systems.

We are currently facing exciting changes: a new scheduling and staffing system is being implemented, and at the same time, our case management system will be replaced in the fall of 2025. These new systems will gradually change our working methods, raise the demands on system competence, and make our service role even more complex and developing.

As a new employee with us, you will go through a well-developed and appreciated introduction program lasting at least three months, all to help you settle into the job and feel secure.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• post-secondary education in payroll, finance, or equivalent experience deemed suitable
• system competence, easy to navigate different systems
• experience in payroll work and various compensations
• experience working in a supportive and service-oriented role
• good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as well as in the Office suite.

It is advantageous if you have experience with payroll and personnel systems, preferably Personec P, as well as experience working in the public sector and enjoy this environment.
