Court Administrator Wanted at the Court of Appeal for Skåne and Blekinge
The Court of Appeal for Skåne and Blekinge is one of the six courts of appeal in Sweden. Approximately 115 employees work at the court. It is a modern workplace located in central Malmö by the canal at Hovrättstorget. The court is divided into three adjudicative departments and one administrative department. Our operations are characterized by high quality. We strive for a good work environment with an open and pleasant workplace climate where participation and accountability are valued. We engage in continuous and committed development work.
We are now looking for one or more court administrators who want to work in a socially important operation!
We offer you a six-month probationary employment that will transition into a permanent position unless notice of termination of the probationary period is given.
Job Responsibilities
As a court administrator, you will participate in the handling of the court's various types of cases. Your tasks will include independently preparing cases and following them from start to finish. The work is very varied and requires you to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
The work is carried out in close collaboration with the court's lawyers.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has a recognized three-year upper secondary education with final grades. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, be an experienced computer user, and have an easy time adapting to new systems. Higher education, experience in court work or other work related to law, as well as language skills are advantageous.
It is important that you can organize your work, prioritize among your tasks, and handle stressful situations in a responsible and careful manner. You should have a pronounced sense of service and good teamwork skills.
To be considered for the position, you must meet high standards regarding judgment, security awareness, and suitability. This means that you uphold democratic values and the governmental values that guide the operations of the Swedish Courts. We require compliance with applicable laws and place great importance on personal qualities.
