ABOUT THE POSITION

Here you get the opportunity to take the next step in your career with one of Sweden's largest players in property management. The assignment is an 18-month parental leave replacement where you are employed as a consultant at Academic Work and work on behalf of our client. In the role, you have independent responsibility for qualified financial work and at the same time become part of an experienced and close-knit team. We are looking for someone with at least two years of experience in budget and year-end work, who is analytical and meticulous, and has the ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and working methods.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

In this role, you have a business-related financial function and a good understanding of property economics and long-term maintenance. You are expected to quickly get into the work after onboarding and work independently and structured with tasks related to budget and year-end accounts. You feel secure in your work and can clearly communicate and convey financial data and analyses to other team members.

  • Budget work for properties, areas, or housing cooperatives
  • Year-end accounts, including follow-up and analysis
  • Ongoing monitoring of revenues and costs
  • Financial analysis and reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Forecasts and variance analyses
  • Advising managers and internal functions on financial matters
  • Ensuring that work complies with laws, regulations, and internal procedures

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Can communicate fluently in Swedish and English
  • Has a post-secondary education with a focus on economics or equivalent
  • Has at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within finance
  • Experience in budget and year-end work
  • Has good system skills and thrives in an IT-driven environment
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience in a similar role related to financial management of housing cooperatives
  • Worked in Agresso and Property Management
