Friday is now seeking a junior Business Analyst on behalf of our client, who will play a central role in the business development team for submarine and surface vessel projects. About the position:We are looking for a curious and structured junior Business Analyst to join our client's business development team. In this role, you will become an expert in their business systems and be responsible for delivering the data and figures that the line needs for analysis and follow-up. You will work closely with colleagues in the line and support them with data and reports that facilitate their work. Excel will be a constant part of your daily routine, which requires very good skills. It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience working in business systems.
Examples of tasks include:
- Working in the business system and ensuring that the line has access to correct and relevant information.
- Supporting the line with data and figures that help them make analyses and well-founded decisions.
- Collaborating with various functions in the organization to gather and ensure the quality of information.
We are looking for someone who has recently graduated or is about to graduate in industrial economics, logistics, or economics with a technical interest. Alternatively, you may have worked for a shorter period and wish to continue developing within the defense industry. You need to be self-driven, motivated, and structured, and have very good Excel skills.
Experience working with multiple functions and stakeholders within an organization, as well as good communication skills, are important qualities for success in this role.
We would like you to have:
- A university degree in industrial economics, logistics, or economics with a technical focus.
- A strong interest in the defense industry.
- Very good Excel skills.
- A high degree of initiative and a desire to develop.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is meritorious but not a requirement if you have a military background.
About the employment:This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where the client has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
