The Patient Board of Skåne is an independent and autonomous administration tasked with supporting and helping patients and their relatives to voice complaints or opinions about healthcare or dental care and to have them addressed. We also regularly monitor statistics and analyze complaints and opinions. These are reported to elected representatives and healthcare providers. The Patient Board of Skåne is also responsible for recruiting and appointing support persons for patients who are involuntarily treated in psychiatry.

Communication work is prioritized and is an important part of our efforts to safeguard patients' rights. According to the law, the Patient Board of Skåne must ensure that patients and relatives receive sufficient information to safeguard their interests. Furthermore, the Patient Board of Skåne must inform the public, healthcare personnel, and other stakeholders about its activities.

We are 17 employees in the administration, located in Rådhus Skåne, Kristianstad.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of communicator with analysis responsibility, you will systematically combine the areas of strategy, practical execution, and follow-up of communication work with the production of analyses of incoming complaints and opinions. In the analysis work - which you will do in collaboration with knowledgeable case handlers - in addition to the analysis work itself, it also includes packaging the results in reports and presenting these reports to various stakeholders within and outside the administration. You will be responsible for communication and activity plans and will plan, coordinate, and follow up on information and marketing activities.

You will also plan and support training initiatives aimed at healthcare personnel and participate in national and regional networks and projects. Furthermore, you will produce, edit, and publish texts for press releases and various digital channels, such as Vårdgivarnytt, Vårdgivare Skåne, skane.se, and on the intranet. You will also do some graphic production, quality assure more complex productions when necessary, and conduct environmental monitoring.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, you need to have:

  • A university degree in communication or another education deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Experience in both operational and strategic communication work.
  • Very good computer skills and excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.

We would like you to have experience in journalistic work. It is an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have worked in a politically governed organization. It is also an advantage if you are comfortable with and have experience in delivering presentations and lectures to larger and smaller groups.

As a person, you find it easy to collaborate and are happy to share your good ideas. You are structured and have a good ability to plan. The work requires you to have a flexible approach and the ability to handle and prioritize between different issues, even when the workload increases. You are proactive and good at seeing opportunities. We expect you to act and live according to Region Skåne's values.
