About the Job
As a bailiff, you primarily work on investigating assets and making decisions on appropriate coercive measures. You have an impartial role and assist those who want to get paid while providing support and advice to those who need to pay.
The tasks are of varying scope and complexity. The cases you handle require speed and efficiency while maintaining quality. With the support of laws and regulations, you assess the material and make decisions.
You will mainly execute payment securities, attachment cases, EU attachments, supervise business bans, evidence preservation, and intrusion investigations. If necessary, you will use coercive measures such as interrogations and fines. You will work closely with other authorities to further develop joint efforts to combat economic and organized crime.
You will collaborate closely with your colleagues as you share a common responsibility for the results. Your manager creates the right conditions for you and your colleagues' work.
The position is located in Malmö.

Your Qualifications:
- Work experience as a bailiff
- Driver's license for a car with a manual transmission
- Swedish citizenship
- Good IT skills
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
It is desirable that you have work experience from the authority's efforts against organized crime.

Good to Know
The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. The Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer.
Working in the government means that you follow the state value base. There are also special requirements for judgment, security thinking, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions during the interview about any previous criminal activity and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also posed to references. We also obtain information about debts registered with the Enforcement Authority, bankruptcy, and business bans. The information obtained is weighed in the overall assessment of your suitability for the position.
Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a hiring decision. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
