The Adult Psychiatric Reception in Ängelholm belongs to the area of operations (VO) adult psychiatry Helsingborg and is part of the management Psychiatry, habilitation, and aids. The reception consists of about 32 employees from various professional categories, including medical secretaries, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants/caregivers, social workers, psychologists, and rehabilitation coordinators. Here, patients with affective disorders, anxiety disorders, as well as various forms of personality disorders and neuropsychiatric conditions are primarily assessed and treated.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical secretary with us, you are an important part of the teamwork. Your main tasks involve organizing and structuring the administrative work at the reception. You will be one of our six medical secretaries, and together you will share responsibility for the administrative tasks at the reception. The tasks are varied and include, among other things, writing journals via MedSpeech in Melior, registrations in various systems (where Pasis is the primary), some telephone service, mail handling, reception work, and support for the reception staff.

Within psychiatry, the law on psychiatric compulsory care (LPT in outpatient care) is applied, where the secretary has an important administrative role. You will also participate in our conferences such as treatment conferences and APT (workplace meetings).

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with education in Health and Medical Care Administration 80 p (KY/400p (YH) or equivalent medical secretary training. For the position, it is required that you have good knowledge of medical terminology and good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. For this position, we welcome both those with experience in the profession and those who are newly graduated and interested in our operations. We use the systems Melior, MedSpeech, and PASIS and would like you to have knowledge of these systems. Furthermore, general good IT skills in a Windows environment are considered an advantage.
