Workplace Description

The Swedish Civil Aviation School (TFHS) is the only civil aviation school operated by the Swedish state. We train both civil pilots to MPL certification in our vocational training program for airline pilots as well as military transport, special aviation, and drone pilots. TFHS operates under Lund University's Department of Flight and Aeronautical Sciences.

The operations are located at Campus Ljungbyhed, where we not only train civil and military pilots and drone pilots but also conduct research in sustainable aviation, unmanned flight, and flight safety.

We are now looking for an assistant who wants to be part of our administrative team in flight and aeronautical sciences.

Job Responsibilities

As an assistant, your tasks may vary, and the tasks should provide insight into the academic world at the faculty where you are studying.

The tasks include:

  • Administration before the start of the Airline Pilot Program
  • Certificates for students
  • ERASMUS administration
  • Administration of Diplomas
  • Working with brochures & marketing materials for the Airline Pilot Program
  • LADOK administration
  • MYH administration
  • Preparations for Graduation Ceremony
  • Administration for Competence Certificates for UAS courses
  • Other tasks may also occur

Qualifications

Eligible for employment as an assistant is someone who is admitted to education at the undergraduate or advanced level at the faculty (or related subject for the joint institutions). The degree must not have been obtained.

Requirements for the position are:

  • very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • very good administrative skills
  • very good organizational skills
  • ability to work independently
  • personal qualities required are collaboration skills and attention to detail

Desirable for the position is:

  • experience of previous administrative work and working in the Ladok system

Other

The employment is temporary for the period 2026-02-01 – 2027-01-31 and concerns a scope of 20%.

The employment must not negatively affect the assistant's studies and may not be combined with other employment. Regulations regarding educational employment as an assistant can be found in the Higher Education Ordinance (SFS 2017:284), Chapter 5, Sections 8-12. The employment is covered by the Flexitime Agreement for T/A staff.

There is an opportunity for remote work.
