Regardless of your interests or goals, you are always welcome with us. As an economist at Riksbyggen, you will work in an advisory role with many customer contacts. You will collaborate closely with our technical managers and other delivery units to ensure the provision of long-term quality management services that create added value for our customers.

With Us, You Make a Difference

You will be the economist for several of our clients, primarily consisting of housing cooperatives but also commercial property owners and municipalities. You will have significant contact with, among others, the chairpersons and boards of housing cooperatives.

Your work will also involve identifying new needs and developing long-term collaboration with clients. For our clients, you will be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping, budget preparation and financial statements, economic follow-up of operations, loan procurement, financial planning, and presenting budgets and forecasts to the boards.

You will also be the contact person for boards, housing cooperative members, suppliers, authorities, and others regarding financial issues. As an employee at Riksbyggen, you are also expected to be a member of one or more housing cooperatives, and if you hold a board position, a responsibility fee will be paid.

You Contribute with Your Expertise and Engagement

We are looking for someone who is interested in customer contacts and has the ability to see and meet customer needs while acting professionally. You have the ability to create an open and trusting dialogue and foster good collaboration both internally and externally. Furthermore, it is important that you can think long-term and develop sustainable strategies for the client's financial management. You need to be structured and self-driven.

You have a degree in economics from a university or equivalent. We expect you to have worked in various areas of finance and have at least three years of experience in financial reporting/accounting. Experience from working in an accounting firm with client responsibility is a plus.

The position is a parental leave cover until December 2027. A driver's license and access to a car are required. The role includes some evening meetings.

The place of employment is Malmö, but work in other locations within the market area may occur.
