We are looking for an experienced DevOps developer on behalf of our client, someone who thrives in the intersection of development and operations, who wants to lead the structuring of CI/CD flows while also enjoying coding. You likely have a background as a software developer but have found your passion in the DevOps world. The work involves creating efficient, reliable, and automated solutions that provide teams with better conditions to deliver.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a DevOps developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the client's CI/CD pipelines and driving the work to streamline development and delivery processes. The role involves close collaboration with development teams where you both code, build, and improve the infrastructure. You thrive in an environment with ample room for testing and problem-solving to create robust and scalable solutions.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:
- Previous work experience in DevOps, preferably in environments with a high degree of automation
- Previous experience as a software developer
- Post-secondary education in fields such as computer engineering, software, systems development, or similar
- Good programming skills in e.g. Python and scripting in Bash
- Solid experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or equivalent (setting up runners, workers, pipelines, etc.)
- Experience with Git and version control
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code, e.g. with Terraform and Ansible
WHO YOU ARE:
You are a hands-on architect who enjoys coding, building, and improving. You thrive in an environment where you can take responsibility, test new things, and drive your own development. You have an analytical side but above all a curiosity and desire to make things better, both in code and in processes.
ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:
This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday and work at a client.
This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
- Extent: Full-time
- Location: Linköping
- Start: Immediately or by agreement
- Salary: Market-based
In this recruitment, great importance will be placed on personal suitability. To succeed in the role, we believe you are a structured and methodical person with a good ability to see things from a holistic perspective. The work is largely analytical and requires the ability to absorb a lot of information and see connections.
Remember to be quick with your application as we are conducting ongoing selections of candidates and the advertisement may close before the position is filled if we have moved on to the selection and interview phase.
ABOUT FRIDAY:
By being a partner to both our candidates and clients, we strive to find the best match. We do this by getting to know our clients and candidates for real! We of course ensure that knowledge and experience requirements match, but above all we emphasize a shared understanding of values and corporate culture that both parties value.
