A Snapshot of Your Day

Imagine being part of an open and collaborative team where your work helps make technical information clear, accurate, and easy to use. In the role of a technical writer, you play a central role in creating, structuring, and managing standard documentation for maintenance plans related to the company's gas turbines.

You belong to the Product Information team within the Overhaul and Parts department and work closely with both colleagues and technical experts to ensure that the documentation is up-to-date, quality-assured, and user-friendly. The work involves both editing existing material and developing new content.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • You will develop, update, and manage documentation related to our standardized maintenance plans.
  • Participate in both R&D projects and daily sustaining work to ensure correct and up-to-date product information.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other departments to gather, structure, and quality-assure technical content.
  • Follow established workflows and contribute to improvements in processes, templates, and documentation flows.
  • Support the department with proofreading and provide assistance regarding document templates and guidelines.

What You Bring

  • You have good communication skills and an inclusive, collaborative approach.
  • You are able to work in a structured manner, plan your work, and meet deadlines.
  • You have an interest in working with technical content, language, and documentation structure – both linguistically and visually.
  • Experience working in a CMS is advantageous, especially Tech Pub Studio or similar systems.
  • You have excellent knowledge of English, as this is our corporate language. Swedish is a plus.
  • You are computer literate and have experience with Office 365, with a willingness to further develop your skills.
  • Experience with Jira, Planner, or similar planning tools is advantageous but not required.

About the Team

The Overhaul & Parts department (SPDE OP) consists of thirteen employees and three consultants. Our areas of work include product information, standard activities, spare parts lists, lifespan analyses, and handling of service bulletins. Together, we contribute to high quality and accessible documentation that supports the service and maintenance of our gas turbines worldwide.

Within the Gas Services division, we offer energy solutions with zero or low emissions based on our gas turbines gathered under one roof, along with steam turbines and generators. Through service, modernization, and digitalization of the delivered fleet, we create opportunities for a reduced climate footprint.
