We are looking for an experienced project manager with strong change management skills in the FCP area. The assignment is based in Stockholm and concerns a transformation project within the banking sector.

About the Assignment

The client is facing a major transition in the area of Financial Crime Prevention. The assignment involves leading a strategic and business-critical transformation work focused on:

• streamlining and harmonizing existing FCP processes
• driving centralization of working methods and functions
• developing and implementing new operational routines
• creating long-term sustainable working methods within AML and transaction monitoring
• ensuring that the change is anchored at both management and operational levels

The role entails overall responsibility for the project's execution from analysis and planning to implementation and follow-up. The assignment is complex and places high demands on both structure, leadership, and business understanding.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a very senior project and change leader with solid experience from the banking or finance sector. You have a documented ability to drive larger change initiatives in regulated environments and are accustomed to working at the intersection of business, IT, and compliance.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• several years of project management experience in AML, KYC, and transaction monitoring
• deep understanding of processes and working methods within the FCP area
• documented experience of leading extensive change and transformation projects
• experience in driving cultural changes and engaging the organization in new working methods
• the ability to challenge existing structures and translate strategy into operational reality
• strong communication skills and experience in leading larger teams

Experience from banking or insurance operations is a merit.
