On-Demand Alarm Operator

We are now looking for more hourly employees for our alarm desk who want to work full-time this summer and at least every other weekend during the semesters.

Your new challenge

The alarm center at Verisure Securitas Direct is the core of our operations and as an alarm operator, you play an important and decisive role with us. When the alarm goes off, your top priority is to create safety for our customers, and you are expected to act by analyzing alarm signals and communicating with the customer. In ongoing calls, you collaborate with colleagues and external resources such as police, fire services, and ambulances. The work is a responsible task at the center of events where you truly make a difference in people's lives. Receiving incoming calls to answer questions and support customers is also a daily part of the role. It is important that you also have good collaboration skills as you will work closely with your colleagues.

• Has previous experience in customer interaction and is used to delivering good service
• Is empathetic, attentive, and confident as a person. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations such as sharp alarm incidents.
• Has good computer skills and is accustomed to working in business systems
• Has good technical understanding
• Is a joy-spreader and enjoys working in a fast-paced team

Do you want to be part of our team?

The position is an on-demand employment with placement in pleasant premises in Linköping. As an alarm operator, you are required to work on-site at the office. An on-demand employment means that in addition to the basic schedule every other weekend, you can work as needed to strengthen our regular staff at the alarm center. An on-demand position is suitable for you who want a part-time job alongside other commitments, such as studies. The employment begins with a mandatory operator training planned for evenings and weekends over 3 weeks starting April 14, followed by a mentoring period of at least 10 shifts.

After training, you will be scheduled every other weekend as a base, and we would like you to work full-time for at least 6 weeks during the summer.

The basic requirement for employment is that you are at least 18 years old. You also need to be fluent in Swedish both spoken and written. As we are a certified security company, no remarks in the criminal record are accepted, and therefore a security check will be conducted via the County Administrative Board and a credit check.
