About the Role

Take the chance to become part of Securitas Protection! We are now looking for engaged employees for our guard service operations in Linköping for full-time employment.

As a guard, your primary task is to deliver security at our customers' sites. You do this, for example, in a monitoring center or at an access control point. As a guard, you have substantial authority and often work in close cooperation with our customers' staff at objects of decisive importance to Sweden's security.

The work is independent and often feels free, but comes with great responsibility.

The tasks are highly varied, and as a guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors, day or night. Shift lengths vary, but are often 12-hour shifts. Since Securitas is part of an operation that runs all year round, working every other weekend is common.

For example, you will:

• Handle cases within your area of assignment
• Ensure that no unauthorized persons gain access to the sites
• Staff static sites as needed

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of upper secondary school
• You must be trained as a guard, civilian or military, with a valid training certificate.
• Category B driver's license

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, it is required that you have approved grades from the first year of upper secondary school in Swedish and English, and that you are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also become relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval according to the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns law-abidingness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may, for example, come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when testing suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
