About the role

The position of Security Administrator – Physical Security is located at the Security and Preparedness Secretariat within the Section for Operations and Security Protection. The Secretariat is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the agency's security and preparedness work. Within the secretariat, subject areas such as civil defense and preparedness, employee protection, operations protection, security protection, and crime prevention coordination are handled.

The work is carried out in close cooperation within the secretariat and with other departments within the agency. The role involves travel within the country to our various offices.

You will

• develop and maintain the agency's systematic security work in the area of physical security
• work within the following areas: governance, coordination and support, systematic fire protection, security in the supply chain, security in and around security systems (access control, burglary alarms, and video surveillance), incident management, training, ID cards & access control, building and telecommunications technical security measures, and mail protection
• work with the creation and revision of governing and supporting documents
• drive projects and sub-projects regarding installations, renovations, new constructions, and extensions related to physical security
• monitor and follow up on the security work in the area.

You must have

• a completed university or university college education with a focus on protection or security, or other post-secondary education combined with a few years of experience from the protection or security area that we assess as equivalent
• several years of work experience in physical security, where you have independently and in collaboration with others worked with detecting, impeding, and handling security and security protection measures, including dimensioning, governance, coordination, and support in the area
• good knowledge of regulations related to physical security, e.g., from the Theft Protection Association (SSF lock, alarm, and protection classes) and the Fire Protection Association (SBF fire alarms, flammable goods)
• good knowledge of security protection and handling of security-protected classified tasks and documents
• very good knowledge of Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Category B driver's license.

It is meritorious if you also have

• knowledge and experience regarding procurement and supplier management in the area of physical security, for example within security technology, guarding, secure storage, or fire protection
• knowledge and experience in information or cyber security
• knowledge of NATO and its regulations regarding physical security
• knowledge of RÖS/Tempest
• experience of working in public sector operations.

More information

The employment is permanent with placement at the office in Norrköping. Appointment according to agreement. We normally apply a probationary period. As an employee here, there is an opportunity to work remotely up to three days a week. It is the operational needs and the nature of the tasks that determine if and to what extent this is possible. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security investigation with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted. For some of our security-classified tasks, Swedish citizenship is required.
