Vadstena Swimming Hall is an important part of contributing to a meaningful leisure time for our citizens. At Vadstena Swimming Hall, we offer swimming, exercise swimming, swimming instruction ranging from baby swimming, splash and play, to swimming school, as well as a gym!

Responsibilities

In your role as a lifeguard at Vadstena Swimming Hall, you will work with lifeguarding, cash register duties, and cleaning. Work with swimming school activities may also become relevant. To thrive as a lifeguard, you should enjoy taking responsibility and be flexible, as your days consist of many different activities within the operation.

The swimming hall staff is also responsible for cleaning the sports hall and gym located adjacent to the swimming hall. You will be part of a team that develops the swimming hall's operations, which is why it is very important that you enjoy designing and planning work together with colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have an interest in working in our swimming hall as a lifeguard, where cash register duties and cleaning are included.

Being able to swim is a requirement, so a swimming test will be conducted prior to employment. The swimming test conducted corresponds to the Gold Badge (Guldbojen) and is divided into two parts, involving among other things swimming 100 meters in any stroke followed by 50 meters swimming with a rescue buoy, followed by 50 meters towing an equally sized companion with a rescue buoy. The test is conducted within a maximum time limit.

It is meritorious if you have experience as a lifeguard or if you have previously worked as a swimming teacher or swimming teacher assistant. Experience in service and cash register work is meritorious. The job involves contact with schools and visitors, so you must be able to express yourself verbally in Swedish and English. It is desirable if you are trained and have knowledge in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); if you do not have this, you will receive training in the area.

Salary: Monthly salary.
