We are now expanding our team with a System Safety Engineer with a good understanding of system safety, requirements management, and regulations.

System Safety Engineer at UMS Skeldar:

You will become part of the Product & Compliance department, consisting of 10 people with cross-system competencies. The department supports the entire organization with roles such as Chief Engineer, Configuration Management, Quality, and System Safety.

As a System Safety Engineer, you will work on a project basis and be part of a team working on system safety for the entire helicopter system.

In the role of System Safety Engineer, you will:

  • review system safety work based on established requirements

  • conduct various types of system safety analyses

  • identify safety-critical functions and components and develop system safety requirements

  • assist systems engineers in the design process and develop safety measures together

  • train the organization in system safety matters.

  • experience from similar roles or experience as, for example, a systems engineer or technical leader.

  • a technical interest and curiosity regarding system safety.

  • experience working with standards and proficiency in documentation.

The position requires proficiency in both English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

The position is based at the office in Linköping.

  • Employment level: Full-time.

  • Start: Immediately, subject to notice period.

  • Travel: Occasional travel may occur once a year.

For employment with UMS Skeldar, you must undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. Roles requiring security classification may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
