At the Swedish Migration Agency, we work with one of today's major societal challenges – migration. We are approximately 6,000 employees in total, and we have a uniquely important job!

We are now looking for security experts in several areas who can support both projects and administration for our local facility supply units at the Swedish Migration Agency. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to supporting the staff of the local facility section by creating the best possible conditions for our operations in detention centers, housing, and administrative premises.

Main Responsibilities

In your role as a security expert within local facility supply, you will work together with colleagues with different competencies within security and fire safety. Together, you will develop the section's working methods and approaches within local facility supply and facility projects, with a focus on security. In your role, you will also support managers and colleagues in strategic analysis and improvement work within the operations.

You will among other things:

  • Assist project managers with knowledge regarding building technical security and security technology
  • Provide project managers with material for schedules, budget basis, and other documentation
  • Lead and support sub-projects regarding security/technology in facility projects
  • Quality assure documentation from suppliers
  • Review drawings
  • Collaborate with local organizations regarding security issues in projects
  • Contribute to developing work methodology and normative documents
  • Follow up on invoices from suppliers
  • Conduct site visits for inspections or other assessments, as well as conduct risk and vulnerability analyses
  • Conduct security assessments of premises prior to renovation/change or new acquisition

The unit uses the project tool Antura, which means you will work largely within this tool. Your role also includes ensuring that established routines and regulations are followed. Furthermore, you create conditions for the operations by coordinating, training, and providing support to operational security work.

You who apply have

  • An academic education of at least 120 credits in security or other education combined with experience relevant to the role
  • Experience in working with physical security and security technology
  • Knowledge of the Crime Prevention Council's standards for burglary protection - Buildings and premises (SSF 200) and alarm classes (SSF 130)
  • Experience in project work
  • Good communication skills and you express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
  • Swedish citizenship

It is meritorious if you have

  • Experience in designing security technology / security-classified environments
  • Experience in fire safety work
  • Experience in creating governing and supporting documents for physical security
  • Experience in monitoring and controlling physical security at a government agency or larger organization
  • Knowledge of security protection legislation
  • Experience in working with information classification and confidentiality matters
  • Experience working in secure/locked environments
  • Experience in training others in security
  • Experience from the operation and management of security and fire technology

The position requires placement in a security class and security clearance with register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). Based on this, there is a requirement for Swedish citizenship. The employment presupposes a passed security clearance.
