Do you want to work close to operations and make a real difference in occupational health and safety? Ragn-Sells Treatment & Detox is now looking for an engaged Occupational Health and Safety Specialist who wants to contribute to driving OHS forward. You will report to the Division Manager and be part of a team with Occupational Health and Environmental Specialists as well as Production Engineers who support the operations. The position is located at our facility in Häradsudden, Norrköping.

The Role

As an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist at Ragn-Sells, you work primarily operationally with OHS issues, with the aim of supporting systematic occupational health and safety work at the facility. You do this in collaboration with managers, colleagues within the central OHS function, cross-functionally with other support functions, and with trade union organizations.

The role includes, among other things, working with both the physical, organizational, and social work environment by:

• Supporting managers with materials for decisions affecting the work environment
• Working with systematic occupational health and safety work
• Conducting and supporting risk assessments as well as developing and following up action plans
• Participating in reporting, quality assurance, and handling of risk observations, near misses, and accidents
• Supporting managers in investigations of near misses and accidents
• Analyzing deviation statistics, identifying risk areas, and proposing preventive measures
• Collaborating with safety representatives and participating in safety committee meetings
• Participating in safety rounds
• Participating in preparations for and during inspections from the Swedish Work Environment Authority
• Supporting managers in contacts with authorities
• Preparing for and participating in internal and external audits
• Planning and conducting training and holding presentations within the OHS area.
• Communicating central decisions and other relevant OHS information in the organization
• Supporting managers in the implementation of new ways of working and adaptation of local routines
• Being an active part of Ragn-Sells' OHS network
• Contributing to the development of safety culture and supporting the implementation of the annual Safety Week

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have a strong commitment to occupational health, safety, and well-being and who understand the importance of the work environment for both people and business.

You have:

• Post-secondary education in occupational health and safety or equivalent experience
• Experience in practical OHS work, including the application of occupational health and safety legislation
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, authority contacts, investigation work, safety culture, and training initiatives
• Merits with experience of OHS issues within the construction and infrastructure industry

You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and are comfortable communicating in English.

As our facility is located outside of public transport reach, you need to have a B-driver's license and access to a car.
