We are now looking for a meticulous, secure, and solution-oriented Payroll Specialist who wants to take full responsibility for the payroll process within Omegapoint Sweden and help develop working methods in a growing group.

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period and is located at our beautiful office at Vasagatan 16 in Stockholm. Start as soon as possible according to agreement.

Your role with us

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of the group's payroll process for all Omegapoint companies in Sweden. You have operational responsibility for payroll compilation in collaboration with our outsourcing partner Kontek and manage in-house payroll for two of our subsidiaries.

In addition to payroll, you have primary responsibility for pensions and insurances and are an important support to both HR and finance in payroll-related matters. The role is independent and hands-on, but involves close collaboration with many functions in the organization.

You will be part of our in-house finance team consisting of five accounting economists, a accounts payable accountant, and our accounting manager, to whom you will report.

What you will work with

Payroll and compensation

• Operational and coordinating responsibility for payroll management
• Ensure a correct and efficient payroll process in collaboration with our outsourcing partner
• Compile, ensure quality, and analyze payroll data
• Responsible for pensions, insurances, and related agreements

Support to the organization

• Be the contact person for payroll-related questions from managers and employees
• Support HR in connection with onboarding, offboarding, and changes in employment
• Ensure correct registration and updating of employee information in the system

Processes, systems, and development

• Contribute to the development and standardization of common payroll processes
• Work on improvements, quality assurance, and some automation according to best practices
• Participate in work related to new companies, acquisitions, or expanded payroll administration as needed

Your background

• 5–10 years of experience in qualified payroll work
• Very good experience with payroll and HR systems and understanding of the entire payroll flow
• Post-secondary education in payroll, finance, or HR is an advantage
• Experience with Kontek Payroll, Maconomy, Skovik, or similar systems is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken
