The Administrative Court in Stockholm is a modern and development-oriented workplace with dedicated employees. The Administrative Court in Stockholm is one of the largest courts in the country and one of the four migration courts. We have about 470 employees, and our main types of cases are migration cases, assistance cases, social insurance cases, tax cases, and public procurement cases. About the position

As a judicial clerk, you are very important for the court to fulfill its vital societal mission. You work on legal investigations, prepare proposals for judgments and decisions, present cases and proposals for resolution, and take notes during oral hearings. Additionally, you prepare cases, address practical and procedural issues, and communicate with parties. The cases you work on can be very varied and sometimes require quick handling. In this recruitment, we are looking for judicial clerks for several of our departments. The court has nine departments focusing on migration, tax, or general cases.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a lawyer with a law degree or a bachelor's degree in law. You are either already a qualified clerk or will be qualified by April 30, 2026, or have at least two years of experience in qualified legal work at a general administrative court.

It is advantageous if you have at least one year of experience in qualified legal work within the areas of administrative law after graduation.

To perform well in the position of judicial clerk, you need to be a highly skilled lawyer with excellent legal methodology and problem-solving abilities, as well as very good written and oral communication skills. You demonstrate very good judgment, have excellent collaboration skills, and also have a good ability to work independently. Your work capacity is high, and you are results-oriented, executing your work in a structured and meticulous manner. You possess a high degree of self-awareness and learn from experiences and feedback from your surroundings. You can quickly adapt to new circumstances and are positive, working constructively under pressure.

This means that you uphold democratic values and the state values that govern the operations of Sweden's courts. We require compliance with applicable laws. Prior to employment, background checks may be conducted. 

Swedish citizenship is a legal requirement.
