Business Controller – Sales

Do you want a role where you can dive deep into data and your analyses directly impact MAX's journey to becoming the world's best burger chain? As a Business Controller – Sales, you are the analytical link between sales, marketing, and management.

You are responsible for tracking sales results, identifying trends, and providing insights that lead to concrete improvements.

Your main responsibilities

• In collaboration with the marketing department, analyze, optimize, and drive sales development based on data
• Continuously be responsible for sales tracking, e.g., by holding weekly sales meetings and creating monthly reports for some of MAX's four markets
• Analyze and present in-depth analyses related to the above, for example, at the channel level, product level, or location type
• Deliver decision-making materials and business insights to other stakeholders within the organization

• You have a strong analytical ability with a genuine interest in understanding relationships in data
• You have a strong motor and an inner drive
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate, where you build trust through a professional, unpretentious, and attentive working style.
• Have experience in driving processes and are self-sufficient in daily work
• You have the ability to translate data into clear recommendations and communicate them in an engaging way
• You are a person motivated by influencing how we drive sales and campaigns forward

To succeed in your role, you need to be balanced and able to understand different perspectives, needs, and drivers. You are practical, self-sufficient, and motivated, which leads you in your work to create accurate analyses. But it is equally important to build trust within the organization and present your conclusions in clear decision-making materials. To succeed in this, we believe you:

• Master Swedish and English fluently in speech and writing
• Have relevant education, such as economics or industrial economics,
• Have at least two years of relevant work experience as a business controller, business/data analyst, or similar
• Have very good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools (programming/report building is a merit)
• Experience collaborating with or working in marketing is a merit

About the process

This position is a permanent full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon. Placement at MAX's office in Stockholm. The recruitment process includes psychometric tests and work samples, where candidates who proceed may be required to complete.
