HR Administrator at Sweco
At Sweco, you have the opportunity to combine your studies with practical HR experience in a large organization, with the chance to grow within HR administration and continuously work on improving our processes. You will be part of a welcoming HR Operations team that shares knowledge, provides feedback, and encourages initiative – with the goal of delivering fast, accurate, and service-oriented HR support where it is needed most.
Why work with us?
We offer a collaborative team, clear working methods, and a culture that encourages initiative, learning, and digital working methods. This is a unique opportunity to gain early breadth in HR, understand how an HR organization operates, and develop every day at work!
At Sweco, you become part of a community. In our relationships with each other and with our clients, we find the strength, curiosity, and solutions to move forward – both in work and in life. Here, you have the conditions to build your future network, with a wealth of expertise gathered under one roof. We are a flexible workplace so you can manage your days to the greatest extent possible, through responsibility, freedom, and supportive colleagues and managers. It is important to have fun at work!
Your future role
As an HR Administrator at Sweco, you will for example:
- Handle incoming HR cases via our case management system and phone. This includes questions about employment conditions, benefits, labor law, and more.
- Register, update, and ensure the quality of employee data in our HR system SAP SuccessFactors, including new hires and terminations.
- Draft employment contracts and employment certificates.
- Report information to the Social Insurance Agency.
- Assist in updating manuals, instructions, and information on our intranet and suggest improvements that make it easier for employees and managers to find the right information.
- Participate in the development and improvement of HR processes and systems – focusing on efficiency, data quality, and digitalization.
- Use our digital tools such as ChatGPT, to simplify and automate work tasks where appropriate.
At Sweco, we strive for all employees to reach their full potential. Leadership at Sweco is therefore an important part of your development and is based on the balance between challenge and support. By learning from mistakes and being open to change, we can together future-proof our operations and make a real difference for our society. We strive to be there for you, so you can be your best self at work and for our clients. Do you want to join us on our journey?
Are you the one we are looking for?
We are looking for someone who has:
- Ongoing academic studies in personnel, work, and organization or a related field. We see that you have at least three semesters left of your education.
- Excellent service orientation, attention to detail, and interest in administration.
- Ability to express yourself well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
- Interest in systems, data, and digitalization; basic Excel skills and a willingness to learn more.
It is an extra merit but not a requirement if you have previous experience in service. You have a natural sense of service and enjoy making things easy for others. You take initiative, drive ideas to goals, and take responsibility for your delivery with high quality. With a clear growth mindset, you learn new things, test, and improve how we work. You are detail-oriented, collaborate well, and have a business-like approach that builds good relationships with managers and employees. Your curiosity about systems and digital working methods – preferably also AI – means that you quickly adapt to new technology and share learnings with the team.
