ABOUT THE POSITION

Academic Work is seeking several part-time receptionists on behalf of Arvid Nordquist, where you will work with welcoming guests and internal staff. You will contribute to an important job to ensure high-quality service and a professional reception for everyone visiting Arvid Nordquist in their new premises in Järfälla, which opened in August 2025!

You are expected to be available to work 2 shifts a week during the semesters.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Duties

The reception is a central function with many contacts both externally and internally within the company and is a very important role. The position requires a high level of service, a clear customer focus, and professionalism in everything you do. As a part-time receptionist, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming guests and visitors
  • Managing conference rooms and other common areas
  • Handling phone calls, switchboard, and email
  • Managing deliveries and mail

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Is studying a post-secondary education of at least 50%, with at least 1.5 years left of your studies.
  • Has experience in service-oriented work
  • Has good computer and system skills and experience working with Outlook and the Office suite
  • Has very good language skills in Swedish and English as you are expected to communicate in both languages
  • Can attend the introduction at the end of July/August at the new office in Järfälla

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Worked in a similar role in e.g., conference, reception, hotel, switchboard
  • Experience working with the phone as the main working tool and the Telia Touchpoint switchboard system.

Other information:

  • Start: Introduction at the end of July/August and long-term during the study period
  • Scope: Part-time during the semesters
  • Working hours: Available for 2 shifts a week, scheduled between 8 AM - 2 PM Mon-Fri
  • Location: Järfälla
