About the role of Group Financial Controller
As Group Financial Controller, you will belong to Circura's corporate function in Stockholm and work closely with the CFO and other members of the finance team. You will have a clear group-wide responsibility for reporting, consolidation, and quality assurance of the accounting, playing a central role in ensuring reliable and scalable financial reporting in a rapidly growing group.
Circura is in a strong expansion phase with a high acquisition pace, which means that the role extends far beyond traditional reporting. You are expected to actively contribute to building, standardizing, and streamlining the group's processes and be involved in the onboarding and integration of newly acquired companies. The role is both operational and development-oriented and suits you who thrive in change, take ownership, and want to help shape the future finance function.
Your main responsibilities:
- Responsible for group consolidation and group reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in an acquisition-intensive environment
- Ensure correct, efficient, and timely reporting from subsidiaries and drive harmonization of working methods
- Quality assure accounting and financial statements at the group level with a focus on structure, transparency, and control
- Prepare group financial statements and contribute to the annual report process
- Contribute to the group's external sustainability reporting
- Be the main contact person for external auditors and coordinate the audit work for the group
- Support and guide subsidiaries in accounting and reporting issues, especially in connection with acquisitions and integration
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of the group's work with internal control
- Actively contribute to developing, standardizing, and streamlining the group's financial processes, routines, and systems to enable continued rapid growth
About you
You have a strong analytical ability and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment. You take ownership of your areas of responsibility, work in a structured and meticulous manner, and at the same time have the ability to see the big picture in a complex group structure. You are communicative, unpretentious, and enjoy collaborating with many different stakeholders, both within and outside the group.
Important for the position:
- Academic degree in finance, with a focus on accounting
- 5–7 years of experience from auditing and/or a similar role as Group Financial Controller
- Very good system skills, especially in Excel
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Meritorious for the position:
- Experience from companies that have gone public or undergone IPO-readiness
- Experience from acquiring groups
- Experience from listed companies or groups with reporting according to stock market requirements
- Experience from businesses in contracting, installation, construction services, or other project- and service-based industries
