About the trainee program:

Our trainee program is aimed at those who have one year left of their studies. The trainee program begins with 2 months of summer internship with us in Huddinge. You will receive an hourly wage and a supervisor, and all trainees will, in addition to working in their respective departments, also carry out a joint project together. In the fall, there is likely to be an opportunity for continued hourly employment, and in the spring, we may be able to collaborate on your thesis? You will gain valuable practical experience from the urban development field.

Trainee in Land and Development:

Do you want to be involved in driving development projects from idea to implementation? At MEX, we also work with land allocation competitions and bidding procedures in connection with development, buying and selling properties, land valuation, development calculations, and various types of land leases. The section also deals with street cost issues and leases of public land. As a trainee in land and development, you will, for example, be involved in making agreements for the purchase or sale of land, various land leases, preparing documentation for valuation, and assisting in various property law investigations.

Your development with us:

During your time with us, you will be assigned a supervisor who supports and helps you in your daily work and helps you build your understanding of the section. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to get to know other colleagues. In your role as a trainee, you will follow different phases of projects. About 40% of the time is devoted to the joint project work with other trainees. The remaining time is allocated for tasks within the section.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are starting your final year through one of the following programs: Civil engineering in the Urban Development Program with a focus on land and property law, a bachelor's degree in surveying, or a bachelor's program with a focus on property development. You are expected to graduate in the spring of 2027.

As a trainee with us, it is important that you are proactive and creative with the ability to collaborate with others in a smooth and responsive manner. Other important qualities in the role are that you communicate clearly and that you are goal-oriented and curious to learn new things and enjoy making suggestions and ideas in the workgroup. It is important that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as the role of a trainee involves being in many different contexts with several points of contact.
