Project Coordinator at FMV

Do you want to contribute to the development of Sweden's maritime command system? As a project coordinator with us, you will play an important role in supporting both the manager and the project team, creating and assisting with structure and order in our projects, and developing work methods. Here you will have the opportunity to combine project work, communication, and analysis in an environment where technology and social benefit meet.

Responsibilities

As a project coordinator, you are an important support for both the manager and the project team within maritime command systems that include navigation, communication, sensors, and combat management systems. You assist in coordinating our maintenance and procurement projects to ensure forecasts are accurate and deliveries are timely.

You will also help develop how we work – from information management to smarter working methods – to make project everyday life smoother for everyone.

Your role also includes keeping the information flow together, both within the projects and between the unit and other parts of FMV, internally and externally.

Your tasks will include supporting the manager during the startup of new projects as well as following up on existing ones. You will, in collaboration with the economist, prepare materials for financial forecasts. You will also be involved in planning and taking notes at all startup meetings and will become a knowledge transferer as you will be the one who knows these processes and updates best.

The position is located in Stockholm.

We are looking for you

You have a post-secondary education focused on economics, communication, or have equivalent skills acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. You have experience working in project form and are a proficient user of the Office suite, especially Excel. Furthermore, you have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We view positively if you have current and relevant experience in mentoring others, interpreting and analyzing data, and preparing presentation materials. Experience from a service profession and working with finance is also an advantage. It is a merit if you have previously worked with SharePoint and MS Project or similar systems. If you have an interest in technology, that will also be an advantage in your work with us.

As a person, you work well with others and facilitate dialogue with others smoothly. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and deliver solutions. Furthermore, you take initiative, start activities, achieve results, and take responsibility for driving your work forward. You have good communication skills and can adapt your way of conveying messages according to the recipient.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
