The role of healthcare administrator/medical secretary

As a summer temp with us, you will work with administrative tasks in our reception, such as answering the phone, managing patient appointment bookings, and other healthcare administrative tasks.

We offer a fixed-term employment during the period of weeks 24-33. There may be a possibility for extension after the summer.

Your future workplace

The ophthalmology department is located at Högland Hospital in Eksjö and is open every weekday. Currently, we have 25 employees from various professional groups. We take care of patients with chronic eye diseases, acute eye problems, as well as children with eye issues. We also perform cataract surgeries and some skin changes.

Your profile

We prefer that you have an ongoing or completed education as a healthcare administrator, but it is not a requirement. It is also an advantage if you have experience with the Cosmic journal system.

You approach your tasks with commitment, energy, and a sense of responsibility, and you structure your work effectively. You make correct priorities and have a good ability to adapt when circumstances change. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
