Our client is a global defense and security company active in air, land, and naval defense, civil security, and commercial aviation technology. Technically, they are leaders in many areas, and one-fifth of their revenue goes to research and development. As an apparatus engineer, you will be responsible for how different devices are integrated into the customer's technical systems and structures. You do not code yourself but have a good technical understanding and a holistic perspective on both hardware and software.

Your tasks will include:

• Defining requirements for subcontractors and reviewing their specifications and technical solutions
• Assessing and approving documentation and verifications
• Coordinating technical information between suppliers, system engineers, and testing operations
• Solving problems and finding the right contacts when questions arise during development or testing

You do not build the devices yourself but work on receiving and quality assuring material from our suppliers. Your role will be to understand how everything fits together, verify that the systems work as they should, and ensure that the results meet the high quality required.

• Have a technical university degree, likely in computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar field.
• Have some years of experience in similar work
• Have a good ability to create contacts and communicate with people in different professions.
• Have a good technical understanding and a technical interest
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing as both languages are used in daily work.

Furthermore, great importance will be placed on personal suitability in the recruitment process. To fit this role, you need to be curious and enjoy working with problem-solving and finding answers to various questions. Additionally, you should enjoy networking and having contact with many different types of people, as well as working closely with your colleagues.

This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, require certain citizenship.

This is a consultancy assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.
