The Role of Healthcare Administrator

As a healthcare administrator within the emergency clinic, you will be responsible for administrative tasks at the region's three hospitals – Jönköping, Eksjö, and Värnamo. You will document and administer emergency care contacts, thereby gaining a broad medical insight into several different specialties.

We actively work to develop the healthcare administrative function together with other emergency services. This means that your tasks may change over time, and you will have the opportunity to be part of the development work.

Your Future Workplace

The emergency clinic is responsible for the care of severely ill and time-critical patients who require rapid handling and whose conditions are not managed in primary care. The healthcare administrative unit is a regional function that staffs the emergency departments in Jönköping, Eksjö, and Värnamo, as well as the emergency care department in Jönköping. We are in a phase where we are together developing and clarifying the role of healthcare administration, in line with the changing needs within emergency services.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• Education in healthcare administration or what the employer deems equivalent.
• Preferably coding training and experience with the medical record system Cosmic.
• Previous experience in healthcare administration is seen as a positive, but we also welcome those who are new to the profession.

The position refers to permanent full-time employment with placement in Jönköping, Värnamo, or Eksjö.

Start date according to agreement. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and nights, with duties also on weekends. A salary supplement is provided in addition to the base salary and on-call pay.
