The Role of Healthcare Administrator

As a healthcare administrator within the emergency clinic, you will be responsible for administrative tasks at the region's three hospitals – Jönköping, Eksjö, and Värnamo. You will document and administer emergency healthcare contacts, thereby gaining a broad medical insight into several different specialties.

We actively work to develop the administrative function together with other emergency services. This means that your tasks may change over time, and you will have the opportunity to be part of the development work.

Your Future Workplace

The emergency clinic is responsible for the care of critically ill and time-sensitive patients who require rapid intervention and whose conditions are not handled in primary care. The administrative unit is a regional function that staffs the emergency departments in Jönköping, Eksjö, and Värnamo, as well as the emergency care unit in Jönköping. We are in a phase where we are collectively developing and clarifying the administrative role, in line with the changing needs within emergency services.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• Education in healthcare administration or equivalent as assessed by the employer.
• Preferably coding training and experience with the Cosmic journal system.
• Previous experience in healthcare administration is seen as a positive, but we also welcome those who are new to the profession.

The position refers to permanent full-time employment based in Jönköping, Värnamo, or Eksjö.

Start date according to agreement. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and nights, with duties also on weekends. A salary supplement is provided in addition to the base salary and on-call pay.
