Who are we?
The Department of Business, Culture, and Sports belongs to the Growth and Development Office. We consolidate the municipality's efforts to strengthen growth, attractiveness, and development. Our shared mission is to create favorable conditions for entrepreneurship and contribute to making Norrköping a place where businesses want to establish, grow, and stay.
In the unit for business and external relations, we work together to stimulate entrepreneurship, create growth in existing companies, and attract new establishments and investments. Our work is based on actively utilizing existing and new contact paths, working proactively, and meeting entrepreneurs in a professional and relationship-building manner.
We are now looking for a senior establishment officer who wants to become a key person in our ongoing work – and who will drive the work forward with us.
Your Responsibilities
As an establishment officer, you will receive, drive, and coordinate establishment inquiries from national and international actors. You will act as a guide into the municipality, maintaining dialogues with companies, administrations, and external parties to create favorable conditions for sustainable establishments.
The work includes both operational and strategic components. You will handle incoming cases while also proactively identifying establishment opportunities that strengthen our existing clusters and align with Norrköping's new establishment strategy.
You will participate in networks, engage in dialogue with land and planning functions, and ensure that companies receive accurate, clear, and coordinated information throughout the process. Furthermore, you will drive the development of our processes, packaging, and marketing.
You will collaborate closely with both internal colleagues and external actors, becoming an important part of building a long-term and professional establishment function.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a university degree in economics, urban development, marketing, or another relevant field, or equivalent work experience as assessed by the employer. You have previous experience in sales or marketing (B2B) and project management.
Experience in establishment work, investment promotion, or broad business issues is considered advantageous, as is experience working with complex processes and multiple contact points. We also welcome international experience in establishment work. Experience in public sector work is a plus.
As a person, you are a relationship builder and results-oriented with the ability to make things happen. You understand how the urban development process is interconnected and can navigate and network with various municipal and private actors in a secure and professional manner.
You work independently and have the ability to develop strategies and methods to meet the organization's goals and vision. At the same time, you are collaborative and share knowledge and information. You communicate verbally in a clear and confident manner.
Additionally, we prefer that you have a B driver's license. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
