About the Job

You will work with population registration cases related to life events, residency, and protection of personal data.

You will receive an introduction and a mentor who will help you plan your work. You will then independently manage your cases and collaborate with others. The work involves handling various types of cases, and you will learn and gain new knowledge both broadly and in depth. The work may also include handling mail. We offer flexible working hours, and it is essential for us that you maintain a balance between work and leisure.

You will belong to the Population and Property Department and work in Unit 6. Your placement is in Norrköping. In the area, we have about 95 people working within the population registration operations.

About You

In this job, you should:

  • independently plan and drive your work forward to achieve results

  • be goal-oriented and contribute to achieving the purpose of the operations
  • be able to speak and write simply and clearly in both Swedish and English
  • be able to analyze information flows, see connections, and make decisions.

You should also have:

  • an ongoing (at least 60 approved credits) or recently completed higher education of at least 180 credits in law, social sciences, or behavioral sciences
  • current and relevant work experience in meeting people from different backgrounds, for example via phone, email, or customer service.

It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience at the Swedish Tax Agency or another authority or public sector.

Good to Know

The employment is temporary and may vary. The start date is May 18, 2026, with the possibility of starting at 50% on May 4, depending on the work area. The employment lasts until August 14, 2026, with the possibility of working until August 31, depending on the work area. During this period, it is possible to combine any studies with work, as leave can be granted for exams, seminars, and lectures after coordination with the responsible manager.

In this job, due to the nature of the tasks, there is no possibility to work from home.

In this recruitment, we may use psychological tests.

An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
