About the job as a finance assistant:

As a finance assistant at Siemens Energy in Finspång, you will be a central part of the financial work within the Real Estate department. The role suits you who enjoys working in a structured manner, has a good understanding of financial flows, and appreciates being a hub in the handling of orders, invoices, and reconciliations.

You will work closely with both business and central finance and contribute to creating structure and quality in the daily financial work. You will also support the purchasing process and participate in improvement work regarding routines and working methods.

Common tasks include:

• Ensuring correct postings and payments of supplier invoices.
• Performing ongoing reconciliations between invoices and related agreements.
• Supporting monthly closings with documentation and reconciliations.
• Reviewing income statements and balance sheets and following up on discrepancies.
• Supporting the purchasing process according to current guidelines and administering purchase requests and purchase orders.
• Participating in improvement work and development of routines.

The candidate we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with experience in financial work who wants to continue developing in the role of finance assistant at a global company. To thrive in this role, you are structured, meticulous, and enjoy working independently. You have a good ability to communicate and collaborate with different parts of the organization.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a high school graduate in economics or has equivalent education.
• Has at least 2-3 years of experience working in a finance department.
• Is meticulous, structured, and used to working independently.
• Has good knowledge of Excel and preferably experience with SAP.
• Communicates fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Experience in purchasing and working with contracts is an advantage for the role.
