Do you want to be part of our wonderful team and contribute to Kinda Municipality's continued success? We are looking for someone who wants to work as a controller with us in the finance department. You will have the opportunity to work closely with managers and departments to ensure that our financial resources are used wisely and effectively.

Job Description

As a controller with us, you will work with follow-up, budgeting, and forecasting. You will support the Community Planning Department in financial matters, analyses, follow-ups, and the development of financial routines. You contribute to achieving the department's financial goals through strategic and operational efforts and explain finance in a pedagogical way. You will actively participate in change and development work, with a particular focus on digitization and automation.

The municipality is facing significant investments, and in this role, you will also have a central role in the municipality's investment work.

You will be placed in the Finance Department, which consists of both Finance and Procurement, under the Municipal Executive Board. With you, we will be 11 people working together to develop and streamline our processes, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• has a relevant university degree in finance, or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer
• is an experienced system user and has good knowledge of the Office suite, primarily Excel
• has experience in accounting, follow-up, analysis, budgeting, and financial management
• has a natural ability to inspire and challenge managers in their financial work
• has excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you:

• have experience in financial work within the public sector or another large organization
• have experience working in a larger financial system, preferably Raindance
