Job Advertisement: Economy and Administration

You will belong to

the Department of People and Society, which deals with issues related to community building, cultural heritage, social sustainability, energy, climate and regional growth, crisis preparedness, and civil defense, as well as handling administrative matters.

Your tasks

will be within economy and administration. You will support the department head and unit managers in the department. Your tasks include assisting the department head and unit managers with budget planning, budget documentation, and financial follow-up. You will also work with the department's financial documentation for operational planning, financial follow-up/forecast during the quarter, and at year-end. Other tasks may include reallocations, customer invoices, and payments. If necessary, you will also support other colleagues with administrative handling. You are expected to work independently but in close collaboration with the department's managers and other administrative support.

Requirements for the position:

  • completed upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on economics or equivalent education/experience assessed as relevant for the position
  • at least one year of experience in budget planning, finance, and invoice management
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel

Meritorious:

  • good knowledge of public administration
  • experience working as management support with a focus on budget work and financial follow-up
  • experience with Agresso, Unit4, Hypergene/Lisa, Visma Proceedo
  • post-secondary education in administration and finance

The employment is

a temporary position for 12 months starting in April/May.
