We are now looking for an Information Security Coordinator to be placed in the QA unit (Quality Assurance) at the Health and Care Office. The role is central to strengthening the office's ability to protect information and personal data, meet increasing compliance requirements, and build a sustainable security culture that works in everyday life.

Your tasks

As an Information Security Coordinator, you will drive the Health and Care Office's information security work forward by creating structure, direction, and practical support.

You will assist the organization in identifying what needs protection, understanding risks, and translating requirements into effective routines and working methods in processes and systems.

You will alternate between strategic work, such as developing materials, priorities, and follow-ups, and operational efforts such as risk assessments, information classification, incident management, and support in changes and digitalization initiatives.

An important part of the assignment is also to educate and guide managers and employees so that information security becomes a natural part of the work, not something that is handled afterwards.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education focused on information security, such as vocational training in the field, social work, behavioral science, political science, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent, combined with relevant experience.

You have practical experience with information security and GDPR. You are accustomed to working based on risk and translating requirements into concrete working methods.

To succeed in this position, we see that you have worked in the public sector, preferably close to health and care, and that you have knowledge of NIS2, continuity/preparedness, or security protection.

As a person, you are independent and skilled at planning your work. You work towards established goals and have a good ability to work both strategically and operationally.

You have a good ability to communicate clearly and pedagogically in Swedish. You are skilled at giving clear instructions and adapting your leadership style to the individual and the situation.

You have good collaboration skills and find it easy to build relationships.
