Project Controller for Strategic Construction Projects

Do you want to play a central role in some of our largest and most strategic construction projects? We are looking for a dedicated and analytical Project Controller who wants to contribute expertise in project economics and be an important support for our project managers. With us, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the entire project process – from early calculations to finished results – and ensure effective and accurate financial management in accordance with applicable regulations, including IFRS.

About the Position

As a Project Controller, you will be a key person in the work of monitoring, analyzing, and managing the finances of our larger construction and real estate projects. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, technical leads, and other functions within the organization. You will be responsible for creating financial transparency, providing decision support, and ensuring that projects adhere to both timelines and budgets.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Support project managers in the preparation and follow-up of forecasts (FC), budgets, payment plans, and financial goals.
• Conduct ongoing financial monitoring of larger construction and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure that project milestones, costs, and revenues are reported accurately according to IFRS.
• Actively contribute to the development of routines, processes, and methods within project economics.
• Prepare analyses, reports, and documentation for project and management groups.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in economics or equivalent relevant competence.
• Experience as a project controller or project economist in construction or infrastructure.
• A good understanding of project management, financial monitoring processes, and financial flows.
• Very strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly present complex information.
• Good communication skills and ease in collaborating with various functions.

Meritorious:

• Experience with SAP or other large business systems.
• Experience working in larger and complex project organizations.
