We are now looking for a finance assistant for a consulting assignment with our client – a global industrial company operating in Finspång. The assignment is placed within Real Estate and involves a central role in daily financial operations, where structure, quality, and collaboration with both the business and central finance are crucial.

The client is in a growth phase and needs to strengthen the finance department with a meticulous and self-driven person who thrives in a broad and operational role.

As a consultant, you will work broadly with ongoing finance related to Real Estate and serve as a hub for issues concerning orders, invoices, and reconciliations. You will collaborate closely with both the business and the central finance function and contribute to ensuring correct and efficient financial flows.

In the role of finance assistant, you will work with:

• Ensuring correct coding and payment of supplier invoices
• Ongoing reconciliations between invoices and related agreements
• Support in monthly closing by preparing documentation and reconciliations
• Reviewing income statements and balance sheets as well as following up on discrepancies
• Support in the purchasing process according to applicable guidelines
• Administration of purchase requests and purchase orders
• Participation in improvement work and development of routines and working methods

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a high school diploma in finance or equivalent
• Has 2–3 years of experience working in a finance department
• Is meticulous, structured, and used to working independently
• Has good knowledge of Excel
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience with SAP
• Experience in purchasing and working with contracts
