We are now looking for an accounting assistant for a consulting assignment with our client – a global industrial company operating in Finspång. The assignment is focused on real estate-related issues and involves a central role in the daily financial work.

The business is in a growth phase and needs reinforcement for the finance department. The role is suitable for you who are meticulous, self-driven, and enjoy working closely with both the business and central finance.

As an accounting assistant, you will work broadly with ongoing finance and serve as a hub for invoices, orders, and reconciliations. You will collaborate closely with both the business and the central finance function.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Ensuring correct coding and payment of supplier invoices

• Ongoing reconciliations between invoices and associated contracts

• Preparing documentation and contributing to monthly closings

• Reviewing income statements and balance sheets and following up on discrepancies

• Supporting the purchasing process according to applicable guidelines

• Administering purchase requests and purchase orders

• Participating in improvement work of routines and working methods

• High school diploma in finance or equivalent

• At least 2–3 years of experience working in a finance department

• Good knowledge of Excel

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Meticulous, structured, and accustomed to working independently

• Experience with SAP

• Experience in purchasing and working with contracts
