Administrator for the Planning Unit at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is now seeking an administrator for the planning unit for prisons, remand facilities, and probation, located in the section for planning for prisons and remand facilities. The unit belongs to the department for prisons, remand facilities, and probation, along with the Capacity Unit and the service center of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service. The department also organizes core operations. The planning unit is responsible for developing and continuously ensuring national leadership and governance of operations at prisons, remand facilities, and probation within the framework of the authority's management and follow-up model and the department's mission. The unit drives, develops, and coordinates the forums that need to exist internally and externally for the department to achieve its goals. Furthermore, it includes responsibility for developing, managing, and analyzing the effects of quality management structures and quality work. The unit is also responsible for internal coordination within the department and between departments at the headquarters.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an administrator, you will work to support managers and employees throughout the department. The work involves record-keeping, monitoring the department's official email inbox, and participating in the preparation processes for both the department and the unit. You play an important role in the department's flows regarding mail, archives, and case management. The tasks involve a largely independent role with responsibilities that require coordination, processing, coordination, and follow-up.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the role of administrator, we are looking for someone who works well with others and relates to them in a responsive and smooth manner. Furthermore, you are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions while taking responsibility for planning and executing your own tasks with precision. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and can articulate your thoughts well both in small meetings and in front of larger groups.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Complete upper secondary education in the form of a diploma or high school graduation
• Well-rated and several years of experience from similar positions
• Very good computer skills
• Ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish

It is an advantage if you have:

• Post-secondary education in administration or economics
• Training in the Office suite
• Experience working in public administration, preferably with a government agency
• Experience working with the systems Krita, Platina, and Heroma
• Experience actively contributing to the development and efficiency of your role
