We are seeking two network technicians for an assignment at Svenska kraftnät. In the role (infrastructure specialist), you will be part of the team that ensures the operational management of Svenska kraftnät's data communication – focusing on network infrastructure and routing and switching environments to and in the offices (NIS). You will also work with the management to realize the management plan and coordinate the decided management activities.

The assignment includes both daily operations and further development of the network environments. You will handle incidents and problems, implement changes according to established processes, contribute to testing, and ensure that documentation and operational routines are kept up to date. The work is done in close collaboration with the unit's 24/7 monitoring function as well as internal and external stakeholders.

• Manage incidents & problems

  • Analyze and resolve incidents and problems in the network environments

  • Contribute to instructions and routines (e.g., incident management) in collaboration with 24/7 monitoring

• Specialist support

  • Act as a specialist and primary contact for system-specific questions

  • Provide general support and assistance to other systems, operations, and external parties

• Implement changes

  • Manage orders according to applicable processes

  • Implement changes according to Svenska kraftnät's IT change process

  • Maintain environments and carry out necessary upgrades

• Requirement specification & solution proposals

  • Assist in technical requirement specification

  • Develop technical solution proposals for new or further development of systems and/or IT services

• Testing

  • Participate in testing, e.g., functional testing during troubleshooting or further development

• Documentation

  • Ensure good management documentation such as network diagrams, system documentation, and operational routines

• IT security

  • Work with IT security issues to ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and availability according to requirements from the IT security function

• Experience in operations of network infrastructure and routing/switching

• Experience in incident and problem management in a production environment

• Familiarity with IT change processes and implementing upgrades

• Ability to work systematically with documentation (network diagrams, operational routines, system documentation)

• Understanding of IT security related to data communication and service delivery
