Are you an experienced economist with a focus on housing cooperatives and a strong sense of responsibility, looking to take the next step in your career? Then you are the one we are looking for!
In the role of financial manager, you will be responsible for the entire process from budgeting to ongoing accounting and financial statements, conducting follow-ups and financial analyses for our clients. You will also administer fees/salaries, KYC, VAT, tax declarations, and loan reconciliations. A comprehensive responsibility for the clients you manage.
Other administration related to housing cooperatives and other property owners, such as preparing parking and rental contracts as well as other types of office tasks may also be included in your duties. You will also act as an advisor to our clients on matters concerning housing cooperatives and board work, etc. Participate and present at clients' general meetings, budget, and board meetings.
Qualifications
You have several years of experience and documented knowledge of ongoing accounting and financial work. You are comfortable handling everything from ongoing bookkeeping and pure administration to preparing financial statements. Experience from the real estate industry (housing cooperatives and other property owners) and association life is a plus, but not a requirement. If you also have experience with Fortnox and Capego, that is an additional advantage.
You are used to working independently and managing client contacts. If you have an interest or experience in digitalization work, that is a plus as we work in our own developed IT platform. You are described as structured and you like to keep your workplace organized. Furthermore, we hope you are engaged, social, service-oriented, and unpretentious as we are a small close-knit group that supports each other.
You should hold a B driver's license.
The position is full-time with placement at our office in central Karlstad.
Occasional business trips and some evening meetings with clients may occur.
Salary and benefits according to agreement.
Vänerförvaltning has a collective agreement (Unionen, Fastigo).
Start date 2025-04-01 or by agreement.
