As our colleague is going on parental leave, we are now looking for you to take on the role of Business Controller with us from March 1st until September 30th, 2025.

Your Role

In the role of Business Controller, your main tasks will involve proactively working to improve our profitability together with the organization. Your primary focus will be to support and advise our Sales and Operations department regarding profitability, process improvements, and business matters. In close collaboration with our Sales Director, you will function like a Business Partner. This will involve being a support in financial matters, contributing with analytical work, and actively participating in strategic work.

The role also includes the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Establish various types of profitability analyses and regular performance follow-ups.
• Identify trend breaks in performance and sales data and analyze these.
• Coordinate, develop, and report operational KPIs and provide concrete proposals for actions and changes.
• Overall responsibility for budget and forecasting work.
• Calculations & business cases, e.g., for new establishments.
• Build reports proactively to support the business.
• Independently drive various change processes and be part of projects both within the team and the organization.
• Actively participate in the management group for Sales and Operations.

You will be part of a team consisting of five Business Controllers and report to the Head of Business Control. You will be welcomed to our new beautiful office in Stadshagen, and we apply hybrid work.

Your Profile

As this is a consulting assignment, we are looking for someone who can come in and deliver quickly! In other words, we are looking for someone who is experienced and confident in their skills. It is a requirement that you have worked with these issues within retail or FMCG in larger companies. If you have previously worked as a Business Controller in the pharmacy industry, it is a strong merit.

We are specifically looking for someone who has:

• Several years of experience in business-related controlling and has participated in the management group.
• Excellent analytical & communication skills.
• Proficient in Swedish & English, both spoken and written.
• Previous experience in sales to consumers, preferably sales in physical stores.
• Good IT/system skills, experience working with BI tools (e.g., Power BI), and strong competence in Excel & PowerPoint.
