We are looking for someone who wants to become an assistant in our wonderful team and work with a sweet and cheerful 18-year-old girl who is wheelchair-bound and has epilepsy. Since the client is at her daily activities between 8:10 AM and 1:30 PM, the assistance is scheduled from 1:30 PM to 8:10 AM. This is where you come in; you will meet the client when she returns home from her daily activities at 1:30 PM (weekdays) and work until the next day when the client goes to her daily activities. On weekends, you will work 24-hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 AM (with waiting time at night).

You will primarily work as a substitute during sickness or other absences of regular staff.

The client needs support and supervision around the clock to perform everyday tasks. She needs help with daily hygiene, showering, taking medication, and dressing. She is fed through a feeding tube, which you will learn on-site. She wants to be as involved as possible in what she can do and communicates only with her own signs and sounds. She enjoys listening to music, snuggling under a blanket for a while, or going for a walk or doing other activities that suit the day. You will work very closely with the family, so it is important that the collaboration between you works well.

We believe you are between 25-45 years old and need to have a calm personality, patience, and the ability to come up with activities. You need to have knowledge and understanding of diagnoses and how to best meet the person behind them.

A driver's license (B) and access to a personal vehicle are desirable.

Working hours are:

• Weekdays: 1:30 PM - 8:10 AM (waiting time between 10:30 PM - 6:00 AM)
• Weekends: 9:00 AM - 9:00 AM (24-hour shifts)

We require a police record extract, and the assignment will start as soon as possible.
