Alma Assistans is the dedicated company that collaborates with clients to create personalized assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with our headquarters in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö.

We are now looking for a substitute personal assistant for a round-the-clock assistance assignment with night waiting time. We have a great need for substitutes who can work evenings/sleeping on call and all shifts during weekends.

We are looking for someone who wants to join our wonderful team and work with a 34-year-old girl who has, among other things, a diagnosis of unspecified intellectual disability, autism, and epilepsy. She needs support and supervision around the clock and requires guidance and instructions to perform daily tasks and activities. She needs help with planning her day using visual aids, personal hygiene, showering, taking medication, and assistance with dressing. Help with preparing and organizing meals, etc. She wants to be as involved as possible.

This is a very active girl, with an active life and many different daily activities. She talks a lot but in a disjointed manner and communicates a lot through body language and with the help of sounds and her own signs. She enjoys listening to music, singing, cycling, walking, going on outings by car, and occasionally dining out.

You will work very closely with the family, so it is important that the collaboration between you works well. We believe that you are between 25-45 years old and you need to have a calm personality, patience, and the ability to come up with activities. A lot of time is spent outdoors and on various activities with, among others, FUB and more. You need to have knowledge and understanding of diagnoses and how to best meet her needs. A B driver's license and access to a personal car are desirable.

For this assignment, we are only looking for female assistants.

Working hours are:

• Day: 08:00-15:00
• Evening: 15:00-08:00 (waiting time 21:00-06:00)

We require an extract from the police record, and the assignment will start as soon as possible.
