Description

We are looking for a support pedagogue for the municipality's short-term accommodation Solögat. At Solögat, we implement the short-term stay service, a temporary service outside the home. We offer a safe and stimulating environment for children and young people who need a change of environment, recreation, or have parents or relatives who need relief.

Responsibilities

As a support pedagogue, you have the same responsibilities and tasks as other staff members, including providing support and services to children and young people staying at the short-term accommodation, being attentive and able to interpret individual needs, providing the right support measures based on the current situation, and creating a safe and pleasant environment for everyone in the facility. In addition, you have a specific and overarching responsibility for social documentation, pedagogical work, and collaboration. You are a resource for the team and a support in the work based on quality, holistic view, development, and coordination.

The position includes a certain percentage of administrative work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is attentive, empathetic, and engaged. You are an educated support assistant, nursing assistant, preschool teacher, or equivalent and have a post-secondary specialization in the disability field that includes at least 200 YH points or 60 higher education credits (or a combination that corresponds to at least two semesters of full-time studies). It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with individuals with intellectual, physical, neuropsychiatric, or mental disabilities.

Salary

Monthly salary, individual salary setting.

Conditions

Permanent position, 80%. Irregular working hours, including weekends. Start date as soon as possible by agreement.
