We are now looking for several residential support workers to join our team in Västerås. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference!

Västerås: We have a total of 8 operations in Västerås with different target groups. All of our residences belong to group 1. Care needs differ both within the unit and in general. All operations are well-functioning with stable work teams.

About the role In the role of residential support worker, you will start from the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call. Some operations have awake nights.

You will have a group manager nearby who shares their time in the operation and in daily care work.

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or other equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our users' best interests at the forefront of everything you do.

At Nytida, we are in constant development. With us, you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Our culture is permeated by our values – respect, responsibility, simplicity, and knowledge.

This is what you get with us:

  • Leadership-trained managers close to you

  • A common pedagogy to provide the best care and support to our care recipients

  • Collective agreement
