Treatment Pedagogue for Nibblebo HVB
We are currently looking for two treatment pedagogues for Nibblebo, our HVB (residential care) facility for the treatment of adults with harmful substance use and addiction within the support and treatment sector.
At Nibblebo, we have a total of 11 beds; one is an intake unit and two are discharge apartments.
Working Hours and Employment Level
- We operate 24/7, which means you will work according to a schedule with irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
This vacancy is for 2 positions for awake night shifts, 100% employment.
About the Role: Awake Night Treatment Pedagogue
As a treatment pedagogue during awake night shifts, your duties involve care and supervision of our residents. During evenings and nights, the focus is on maintaining safety, calm, and security.
In the role of a night-time treatment pedagogue, you will primarily work with:
- Safety-creating activities, such as supervision and care
- Documentation
- Everyday tasks
Responsibilities
As a treatment pedagogue at Nibblebo HVB, you will be part of a team consisting of 5 colleagues. You are responsible for developing, planning, and implementing internal treatment interventions for individuals with harmful use or addiction to alcohol and drugs, ensuring they meet the target group's needs. You will conduct qualified treatment work, both individually and in groups.
In this role, you will collaborate with several other professions. Your tasks include providing support and treatment to clients during rehabilitation and in everyday tasks.
You will plan and implement treatment interventions and document these in the implementation plan, as well as continuously document in the journal within the Lifecare system.
The methods used in the treatment work include, among others, manual-guided 12-step treatment, motivational interviewing, ESL (likely referring to a specific Swedish method or acronym in context), and relapse prevention.
Practical tasks such as cleaning, grocery shopping, and cooking are included in the job description.
As a therapist, you are responsible for following current legislation and the facility's routines, including those regarding care and food hygiene as well as medication management.
At our facility, you will work together with other staff members and help build relationships and motivate change.
Qualifications
- For this role, we are looking for you who have at least a two-year university college (YH) education in social work, e.g., treatment pedagogue, or another post-secondary education deemed equivalent.
- You must have experience working within addiction/substance abuse care.
- Merits include education/knowledge in methods such as: 12-step method, RP (Relapse Prevention).
- A valid B-driver's license is required.

Your collaboration should be characterized by teamwork and a willingness to participate in the development of the activity. You are expected to have good cooperation with your manager and colleagues, both at your workplace and within our municipal consortium.
